I get angry and offended, and then I say offensive and insulting things, and then it just fuels the other person to say even more offensive things, and it’s just a vicious unhelpful cycle. I want to stop doing this.
I’m asking in this section because this is the section it primarily occurs in for me.

Friday, December 11th, 2009Do you have any tips for keeping your cool and not getting frustrated? I try to just ignore it when people insult me or make fun of me, but on days when I am very irritable it’s difficult. I notice almost everyone will get angry when insulted and they all have different ways of dealing with it.
I guess I am just looking to avoid retaliating with counter insults or trash talk. I just don’t like getting in fights with people. Even if they are the idiot who started it.
